I think he's a shooter because range conditions in the area were better than they had been. He likely got all his growing in on a full belly this season. Just something to consider before squeezing (or hesitating to squeeze) the trigger.

I personally don't prefer the genetics he is throwing off up top and would try to put an end to that. Throckmorton Co has some real beasts and this guy is sub-par for his estimated age, IMO.
