Either Leonard or Van Alstyne?

I got a couple of buddies that hunt out there said they limited out near a tank. I do not hunt there just what i heard

I dont hunt DJ but my house is surrounded by DJ land (leonard). Took my 8yr old this morning he shot 11 by our lake and there were pleanty of shots comming out of the DJ areas.

Hearing good things from most, on both sides.... will be there tonight myself finally...

Hunted in howe area last night seen a few ended up with 1 talked to some Guys that was closer to the tank and they done a Lil better than us just not many birds

Just made a loop here, looks bleak for tonight too... heat maybe?

I hunted Howe in the morning, I shot at two, way too far away but I shot anyway.

Sometimes its fun just to shoot Catch and release hunting

They had limits behind the pool damn over here, on the big place, other than that it was sporadic, I had 9 in about 1.5 hrs, needed more hunters

9/3 Leonard side, ended up with 4 not very many hunters and only about 5 minutes worth of shooting in the morning, the afternoon was even slower.

Yeah it was slow yesterday.

Slow tonight on the little lake at 4845....very little activity near 6:30, dead after that.

Hope the cool front pushes some down....

planning an evening hunt by the grain silos tomorrow, or east of there

We're going to hunt somewhere around Howe tomorrow night

I hunted the Leonard side and did well, this past weekend. I scouted Friday, limited out without too much issue on Saturday, and worked a lot harder on Sunday. I want to get out at least for a morning or afternoon this weekend, but I was hoping to visit the Howe/Van Alstyne side of things. I unfortunately have not had a chance to scout it at all. Any of my DJ counter parts wish to share a spot or 2 with a lone dove hunter? Obviously, PMs are fine as I understand that you may not want to tell the world. I obviously have my maps to refer to. ;-) Thanks in advance!

If I was hunting howe, in the evening, I'd be on the west side of the a;sfp;ndf;sa on the adnakdna on nasndn' near the kanmdlka

Hehe... i wasn't asking for your bestest most greatest of all secret spot, just a good place to begin until I can get more familiar with the area. ;-)

We hunted Howe this evening and had a great shoot.

There were a bunch of trucks there opening day!

I saw that. We were on the treeline up above shooting birds before they got down to the tank.

Gonna try it again tonight....104 doesn't bother me!
