My daughter and I headed to the lease and left Mama and the baby at home. Nothing like some father/daughter time. She is about to turn 4 and has been going to the lease since she was almost 2. This was her first dove hunt, so I wasn't sure how she would handle the guns going off, the heat and birds...she did awesome. Didn't take her long to recognize which birds we were hunting and didn't take her long to learn to yell at "Daddy" when some where coming in. And boy...she sure is tough on Daddy when he misses  Limited out both afternoon hunts (let her sleep in both mornings) My father, sister, BIL and some good friends were all there and there were plenty of other young kids running around camp to help entertain her. She is ready...  First dove of the weekend   Dove hunting is hard work

THATS GOOD STUFF RIGHT THERE!I took my 9 year old daughter for the first time and she had a blast...... mine son wasn't too happy about having lil' sis along but he got over it etc.... now she is says she can't wait for deer season!

Thanks everyone. I am just excited she still loves to go. Only fight we had all weekend was on Monday when it was time to load up and go home. Did you tell your sister about me? Send me some pictures and I will see what I can do with em...I mean for you

Great pics and glad you had a great time. I drove by Ivie on Saturday and you can't see water from the bridge. That area needs rain quickly!
