Sitting here scouting one of the fields, been here since 6:30 or so and I've seen about 1-200 dove flying around.....hope it stays like this another 2 weeks!!

Shaping up to be a hunt to remember, my son is home from serving in the Marines to make our first dove hunt together in four years, my best friend and his daughter(leaving for Navy boot camp a week after opener) and two fellow officers are going to hunt sun,mon, tues at my lease. Will be a good time!

Out scouting again this morning, set up the voodoo on the tank to watch the birds and they won't stop swooping in on it....father in law also put out a dead cedar in the field and they're all over it.....9 days huh? Wish it were today!!
