Change the "d" for a "b" and I'll be qualified for an opinion .

I was able to get the interior temp down to 36 degrees in about 35-40 minutes.

Looks awsome. How far from Kerrville are you? How long did it take you to build? What would you charge to build one?

I am in Fredericksburg. I built it in a weekend after I had purchased all the parts and with current material prices to build one from scratch would run around $3500. That would be a turn key project with controller, AC unit, and paint.

I like that. I don't have a need for one but it looks like you did a great job.

asartor,
that's the great thing about this cooler, it can multi task. After my brothers wedding we had 2 kegs left that stayed in the cooler for two months until our friends in the service came home from Iraq. That was gooooood beer.

Do you have personal experience with the Ranco? I have heard it is inefficient. Just wondering.

No I don't. There are a lot of vids on YouTube where folks are raving about them so I thought I'd throw it out as an option. If the work like they say a person can save some money.
I see them on ebay for $45 shipped so it's not a great loss if it doesn't perform to suit you. I've spent more and got less.

Excellent, thanks for the info. It's worth $50 to try and potentially save $250. Besides, if it's on YouTube it must be truehttp://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/images/icons/default/wink.gif
