I got rid of my small, 8ft bass raider boat at the end of last season. I needed something bigger, and something with titles that I could take on public water. I bought a handgun for $100, made a few trades and ended up with this 12ft coleman crawdad with a 3hp gamefisher motor, and titles for both! The white interior wasn't gonna cut it, so I did a cheap camo job on it. I got to thinking that with the built-in rod holders where they are, it would be easy to make a removable blind to hunt from. A little PVC and some net that I had left over from last yr...here are the results! The blind breaks down for transport and can be assembled in about a minute. After the registration/title fees and material, I have less than $300 in it. It won't win any races, but with a flat bottom and small motor, I should be able to go just about anywhere with it!

That is really nice! I would love to have something similar. Maybe next year. Might try to find something like that this winter.

Pay attention to the weather and don't get caught out while a front moves in, lakes around here can get nasty.
Sweet lookin rig though

Thanks guys!
It does fit in the bed of a pickup truck, but hangs out the back a little. I don't have a truck, just a grand cherokee and my work cargo van. I have hauled it on top of the jeep like a redneck, and that works, but I don't think it's gonna fit inside the van like the 8 footer did...or I could just find a trailer for it.

That gamefisher is a beast! I've been using one very similar and it goes through all kinds of weeds
I don't carry change, but I love breaking bills!

Thanks! What kind of changes/improvements do you guys think I should make to it before the season?
I have a red/green navigation light and I plan on bringing a big handheld spotlight. I have PFD's covered too. I'm hoping to find a cheap electric trolling motor and battery because there are a couple places that I might hunt that don't allow gas motors.
