Keep my mouth shut?.....I'm not keeping my mouth shut about anything. If I have concerns and questions then I will express them and I hope you will answer them. Your the one wanting my $350.

Now back to my issue, So your telling me I DON'T have to be there for sign in? And you have land for me to hunt free of charge? How many folks are hunting this land. Do you have to see the yotes i kill or can i shoot you an e-mail and picture of the 25 yotes i kill with me and my crew in the picture? So what does mailing my entry in have anything to do with my previous post. Did you think i would drive down to give you $350 and turn around and head home? I mean come on, hows this going to work for people that aren't from around your area, think about it. Thanks.

I for one would say move it later. It might give us enough time to get the money. I have had the oppertunity to hunt out five miles north of Bowie on a deer lease a couple of years ago. The best time to hunt that area is after midnight. I do know there is a lot of coyotes out there. I do hope to get the chance to get back out there. I would also suggest that you take plenty of ammo. The weekend I was there the coyotes had killed two calves, so they do need some thinning out for sure. Good luck fellas, maybe will see yall out there.

Also Cory, how much land do you have for sure that the owners will let us hunt on. I cant see driving all around looking for a place to hunt and lodging with the gas prices so high. Dont get me wrong, Im all for because I know what the hunting is like. I just dont want to have to drive that far and all the hunting spots are taken. All the places that I hunt is off limits to other pepole other than myself and one guest. So hunting with four would be a problem. If anyone needs an extra member pm me, I would give it a shot.

At this time of year the yotes are done breeding & the females are starting to den up, its only getting harder UNTIL Sept or so when they kick out the pups, then its easy picking for pups & adults.

That is not what I meant.I was trying to say other then you drive up for sign in you start hunting at start time.YOu can kill your yotes and drive up for weigh in.This will work. The land owners that I have are having a major issue with yotes right now,And everyone else is having the same issue. We have seen a ton of yotes out there in the last couple weeks. I do not think it would be a problem to find land to hunt on for you.I have access to over 40k acres.I would be able to help. Let me know what I can do for you. ANd by the way I don't want your $350 and no you can not send a picture in ].You have to be there for weigh in..

I looked on the website one day last week and no teams were listed. Maybe this just wasn't meant to be.

I guess after telling everyone to shut up he took his own advice. I wonder how many teams he really ends up with. I'd bet a dollar he doesn't get the 100 he was looking for.

We can't let this thread die without a proper ceremony. That would be like missing out on kicking the neighbor's dog that keeps you awake all night barking at the moon.

I got tired of waiting for a reply, so I called him today. He said he has 42 teams signed up and that most everyone wants him to put it off for a few months so I think he is going to postpone it.
I'm surprised that he had 42 I didn't figure he would get 15 this time of year
Guess we'll have to wait and see if he replies or even puts it on in a few months

I would like to see some of these 42 teams speak up and tell us about themselves. Kind of hard to decide to make the plunge into this contest if we don't know who we are competing with.
