After hearing all of your stories about the contest, I'm glad I was selling Duck Calls on the opposite side of the store! Let's face it, there is always cheating, bitching and favoritism in any contest and that sucks. And worst of all it only takes one person to screw the pooch!!! I met a guy that drove from Marshal TX for the goose mouth calling contest, did that happen or not?

Sounds like there are two sides to this story.
A guy makes an honest mistake with the pricing listed on his website. He gets called on it and honors it even though it meant he would be upside down on it. Most callers were already expecting to pay the full price considering that's what it has been for several years. A caller draws the bullet and gets cut, then makes a major scene in front of kids.
At least that's the story in a nutshell coming from other sources present.

Judges don't always make the best calls... but making a scene in front of youngsters doesn't sound like a good decision either.

First off I didn't make a scene in front of kids and being that there where kids there is the MAIN RESAON why I did not slap the chit out of yo boy! I did draw the bullet and when I got cut and came from behind the stage I took the cut like a man,then a few guys said man you got mess around,I said na thats just the way it is when you draw the bullet,then they said NO before the cuts where made Randy looks out at the guy that was with me and said Karma's a BITCH. Thats when I ask him what did he mean by that to his face and he smiled and said you F..k me this morning and thats why you got cut.AND Yes I hit the roof but that all happend behind the curtain where the judges where sitting. Now then about the mistake on the website talk....He asked me "is it my fault that there was a mistake on my website of pricing?" and I said is it ours? This guy like stated tried to pimp us and could not and had to take it out on me because he was mad and thats the bottom line. Like you said there is two sides to every story and thats why you let the men who have the sides tell it.Because saying things that has to do with harm or any fustration brought to a kid in my book is very BAD..Damn it.. I aint like that,and I dont know who you are personally so I'm not going to sit here and do this back and forth forum "Tongue wrestling" with ya But when you post up something like that about a person you get the story straight son.

I was one that Randy turned to and said karmas a bitch. Not to mention he was gonna cut Kelvin and Ryan in the first round of Team Meat but told his lil buddy "WE DON'T NEED TO GO THEOUGH THAT AGAIN"

My kids and wife were there the whole time and nothing went down up front. From what I could see it all went down "backstage". Nobody got out of line in front of any kids.

Was it at least a good turn out? It was a great turn out, some very very good callers. There was 14 in the open and 20 or so called in meat.

Wish I could have hung out for a while but my nephew wanted to see the boats, dogs, and fish.
Sucks that there was so much drama but glad nobody is questioning the winner.

I had one high tone and I did read the other forums but I can't post up on them for some reason, But this is the point...I did not care about getting cut,its when he said first to some guys that I was with that Karma's a bitch then when I got out there I was cool until they told me what he said.I asked man to man is it true what he said and why,, and he said YES! That's what sent me over not being cut, thats just a part of the game.

And to JJ kent, if you guys felt so dang bad for the man then you should have payed the $60 he wanted, I stood up for callers and I took the fall and you I see felt like I did Randy wrong,But thats politics boys....thats politics in the game.

Kelvin blew a solid routine, top 3 in my books. I'm pissed that some guys locked there call, walked off stage knowing the fuged up and still made it to the 2nd round.
