Well as of now i have not heard from the investigator. However i did go over there and the truck was not there. So unfortunatly for them i know a lot of people around where they live and the watch is on. I have not seen them since this has happened. Thanks for all the support friends, and yall are hitting it right on the nail about these guys NO JOB, and stealing other mens things while they are at work trying to pay for them.

Sorry about your loss. I know the anger and frustration you are experiencing. I was burglarized twice in the early 80's so I know exactly the emotions you are experiencing. I still miss my stuff and it has been over 25 years.

What I want to say is don't do anything that can cause you legal problems.

I know you have a lot of shattered glass in your yard and there is a truck in the area with a broken window, but that really doesn't prove a thing.

If the back window of a pick up was broken from inside or outside, how much glass would actually fall outside the bed of the truck? Just something to consider.

I know you suspect the people at the house because they don't appear to be working or doing anything constructive with their time. But suspicion of questionable activities is not a crime in and of itself.

In other words, you have not committed a crime but if you go and confront them at their home there is the possibility for all kinds of legal problems for you.

Just bide your time and try to let the justice system work(I know, I know, I never got anything back from either burglary and thought the S.O. was useless) but if you go to their house and make accusations or threats then you will be breaking the law and the Sheriff's Office will pick you up because "they" have witnesses.

If you can match the glass in your yard to their truck then you might have something but it would be up to the investigator to do that.

Again, I am sorry as h*** about your loss but just trying to offer some advice to keep you from more problems.

Reading your last post just brings back memories. I hate to say it, but you may not realize everything that was taken for some time.

I clearly remember a week or so after my house was burglarized, reaching up to turn on a 9 band radio that I kept on top of my refrigerator and suddenly realizing it was gone!

Again, I am sorry for your loss and wish you the best.

Man I hate to hear that, sorry for your loss. It has happened 2 times for me in Ennis, first time they got All and I mean ALL my guns, my wedding ring, both my wife's and my HS ring, and some little , they could throw in their pockets. I can replace everything except a chrome .45 Colt Model 1911 that my Grandfather carried when he was the Sheriff of Houston County back in the 40's. My Dad, which was alive at the time, looked at me and said son, we have to get that gun back. I tried my damnest to get it back, looked everwhere, but to no avail, I had to tell Dad it was gone, we would never see it again. That broke my heart to look at my Dad when I told him that.

3 yrs. later at Christmas time, I went home early for lunch, and the back door was open. I walked into the house and at the door was a trash bag. I started to fuss at the the wife, because that was the day the trash got picked up, and I knew she forgot to take it out. So, I pushed open the door and walked in. I noticed the front door was open and it finally hit me, so I backed out of the house,as I had a loaded .357 mag. in my nightstand and I procceded to run from door to door in our neighborhood to find someone that had a phone I could use(before cell phones).
Luckily I spooked him before he had a chance to take my kids Christmas presents, and the only gun in my house.

We can't hang the bustards quick enough, sorry that it has happened.

I live in a rapidling deterating part of town.
Here's what I did... My brother moved from Frisco to Oak Point. I took his alarm company sign from his front yard and put it in mine. Then I went on the net and did a copy/paste of the company logo and printed it out on adhesive paper and stuck them all over my house.
Also, anyone I don't know are not allowed in my house! "My phone is not working, my toilet is broke", etc. Also the S&W is behind my back.

After reading the list of items taken it sounds like whomever did it knew exactly where it was & what to get. Hopefully this isnt a case of a "friend" that turned out to be there just to case your place for stuff or might have been a "friend of a friend" that happened by there a couple times. Sometimes in cases like that the culprit is closer then a random stranger or some punky neighborhood kids. Hopefully they will be caught & punished big time & most if not all your stuff is returned.

I take it you called the police and filed a report? Get them the serial #'s. If you do, they will never be sold at a Pawn shop.

Not the way it works....These can still be sold to pawnshops, but if so, then they are easier to find with serial numbers.

I've caught quite a number of theives over the smallest "mistake." I recommend that everybody take photos, jot down make, model, condition and serial number of EVERYTHING that has a serial number and keep it at a safe location. Don't be like some of the people when I call them, "Sir, do you have any serial numbers for the guns stolen?" Answer: Yes I do, but they were on the computer/laptop that was stolen also.

I worked a big case where guns and high dollar jewlery was stolen and the guy didn't have any serial numbers. They also took his kids I-Pod he had gotten for Christmas, but he didn't have the serial number, or so he thought. Found out he had the box still, which had a serial number, and as he was reading the number to me, I inputed it into the computer and found which pawnshop it was in. From there, found where the guy pawned some jewlery at different shops, and so on, and wham, got him in jail.

Kikr, where about in Lubbock do you live? I've been told of burglary problems around Lynnwood. Haven't had any problems... yet.

I had a customer come into my shop the other day and said he had a 25-06 stolen from him back in 1977.The gun ended up being sold to a pawn shop. The pawn shop called the owner because it was still registered to him and he got his gun back
