thanks for all the tips, i wont be leaving this one out, its my portable one to travel with. i got another one I will leave out come deer season. I like the fishin line idea, i was gonna buy a bunch of velcro straps but now I can avoid the cost and the noise, thanks!

here is the hog and the set up i had







notice the old ladder in the tree...used to be a great bowstand before the hogs overran that whole area, now i just slip back there and hog hunt when i can
