I thought this would interest some of you who are turning into great photographers. I saw Peter Liks work years ago and I couldn't believe the vivid colors and imagery he could capture. Nothing photoshopped or digitally enhanced. Just some crazy ideas, techniques, timing and high quality equipment. These do not do them justice....seeing them in real life is amazing. Hope you enjoy.

This is one of his most famous. Some of them are well over 100k.I think he waited for the right lighting and took this in a canyon. Looks fake but it's not. It's called "The Ghost".

The first 2 pics looks like a place in the Panhandle called, "The narrows". Great pics.

He does have a few composites.. bella luna is one (albeit an awesome one).




They say he doesn't use any flash, which i find hard to believe on a couple of pics.. can't figure it out.

Pure talent though. that dude is good.

I heard txkiller is running a photo class and all THF members are welcome but on the real we should all meet up sometime and take photos maybe learn a thing or two. I don't really know any good spots

He may not need a flash if he has either other secondary (and softer) lighting. He might also just use a slower shutter speed to gather more of the natural light.

prolly more than that per lense. I think he gets those shots from varying techniques but I think he definately holds his shutter open longer for light gathering purposes. thats why they look so vibrant but I'm not sure.
