Once I shot 6 with 7 shells on a guided hunt out of Paris.
That included a triple where I got three Mallards in one volley of 3 shots.

That hunt included my first drake Wood Duck and first Hybrid Mallard

Got 3 Mallards with a single shot last year...I had been on 3 hunts on 3 days and not killed a single bird. Stalked a tank and waited till they were all together. 2 were dead on the skillet and I picked up the cripple without firing a shot.

I'll have to find the pic but went on a snow goose stalk in '10 and we brought home 46 snows with 16 shots. I had on a mag extender and shot 10 times and my buds forgot to take out their plugs and shot 3x each. That was pretty cool...

Never 6 for 6 tho...

Guess this is a good challenge for this year, but I haven't gotten that close. Saw a buddy get a limit of teal during big duck season with 2 shots, but the closest I've come was on a bunch of ringnecks that were the only things flying so I needed to little target practice. This was before I knew you needed a chainsaw to clean 'em.

I was in a layout blind and had 3 greenheads and a Suzie all land in my decoys. I popped up to flush them but they just sat there. I got all 3 greenheads in one shot and the Suzie flew off. I was waiting for a greenhead to flush and too shocked to switch to the hen.

Last season I had 6 down on 8 shots, and on another hunt finished 3 for 3 within 2 minute. 2 of the final 3 were when I was walking in the spread to pick up my bird. My last one was on a fly by which I now know is a no no, but made some great memories and sank the duck hunting hook into me.

Brother and I had a group of teal come straight in and tight, he fired three shots I fired two, seven birds dropped. Few minutes later one of the leftovers swung in behind us and I dropped him. Three shots each for our limits. Seems we've had more days of a box of shells each and Maybe a limit.

Back when we could only shoot 3, and not too many folks were out there trying, I took 3 with 3 a couple times. 3 with 4 several times. Seemed like shooting balloons the way they would settle into the dekes back then.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Last year, had a group come in right to left and me and my buddy volleyed off our six and dropped five. I dont know how or why but a hen went straight up from the tank and then broke hard left and back, off the point of my left shoulder. Gave me enough time to drop another shell in the chamber, rack it, lean back onto my back, and shoot at prolly a 115 degree angle behind me and to the left. She fell stone dead and we counted it off at 65 yards. And that rabbit trail gentlemen, Thats my claim to fame.

I've gone better than 4 for 4 or 6 for 6 on teal a few times, but an 8 shell limit of 6 big ducks is the best I've been able to manage when shooting them out of the air using steel.

Kentucky has a 2 goose limit during the early resident goose season and lots of days I've gone 2 for 2 or 2 for 1. Early season resident geese are stupid.
