We have 'em at our place in Knox County. A huge concentration of birds. I just hope a weather event does not push them out in large numbers. That has happened to us in the past (several times) Sure looks good from this picture my Brother took two days ago up there. This is why we drive 3 hours one way to hunt them... ..

We have some decent flocks congregating here in Hunt County, certainly better than what we had last year.

Drove from Bryan to Hutto on Hwy 79 today. Saw 12-15 birds total to and from. They must have hated the rain.

Have seen hundreds fly over the house in the last week. Mostly Whitewings. Large groups of 40-50 are not uncommon. Last Thursday and Friday we had about 600-700 dove fly over each day in the last couple of hrs. of the evening. Had pics of them sitting in the trees behind the house staring at the pond but they didn't come out. Took a bunch of pics from the front yard but the Iphone couldn't focus are "click" the pic fast enough to get the groups. Have one pic but it is hard to make out the dots. Too fast for the Iphone. Coulda used the fishing net from the driveway to catch a few.

Have not seen nearly as many of them as we usually do out towards Wylie....don't have as many fields with crops anymore though either.
