I like your honesty.

If I hunted in an area that was predominantly divers, I would probably be a proud diver killer as well.

Guy if you don't want the rest of your ringnecks, I'll be glad to take them off your hands...heck, I was planning on firing up the BBQ this weekend! Might as well with a hog front shoulder and hindquarter, some jumbo shrimp, a quart of fresh gathered oysters (by me) and a deer backstrap.

Just need the baked beans, potato salad, grilled corn and beer.

Another run to HEB I reckon...

I think I may have 2 more ringneck breasts in the freezer, I'm going to try it one more time just to make sure it was the ringneck and not the bluebill that was bad.

I got a redhaad to try as well, and that will be all the divers I got. I still got a lot of mallards, teal, and widgeon to eat.

Guy, I bleed them out several times on ice. Empty the leftover ice cubes and throw in a can of beer or so and add meat tenderizer and let them sit. Just don't mix the divers with your other birds in the same meal.

That is a SIN to waste a perfectly good beer on DIVERS.

I will shoot any duck that is dumb enough to come anywhere near my shotgun. As for eating divers...I will do it but I usually give them away. I think enough marinade and spice can make them tasty, but it's cleaning those bastards that I truly hate! Scaup and ringer breasts just stick to the skin way too much for my liking.
