Guys, sorry.. busy as heck. I will reply to the PMs sometime today.

Yes, I am serious about letting folks come hunt hogs.

The ranch is about 36 miles SW of Rocksprings. (another 10 miles East of that, but 36 miles SW.)

There is no cost, but ALL I am offering is to hunt the hogs for a weekend. (I am not doing this for anything other than killing the hogs.)

What you shoot, you pack out...i.e. if you kill 20 hogs, help me clean them if you do not want them and I will donate the meat or take it home if you do not want it, but what I don't want is 20 dead hog corpses laying around my feeders :p

i.e. This is not a shoot-em-up fest.. this is a hunt...heh BUT. I realize a lot of folks do not like to take them home, so we will figure something out. We may field dress them and I'll bring a few ice chests.

Hey.. if we flat out kill so many we cannot haul them all out, then it is what it is..we will find a way to drag them off where they will not smell up the camp or lay around the feeders... wink We have plenty of room.

What you DO need to bring is:

1 - Gas. I have 2 generators right now that run the A/C and the electrical. That takes a lot of gas so, bring some gas for those. If anyone cares to come, we will work out how much.

2 - 2 bags of corn per person. This is to augment the feeders that are pulling them in. There are fences around the feeders, and only the small ones get in there, but they still come in when the feeders go off, so I do not feel guilty about people bringing a couple bags of corn per person.

I'll PM those that PM'd me later tonight when I get home.

And Thank you for the nice comments about the ranch. I really love it more for the ability to invite folks out to hunt than anything else wink

Russ

Hunting is easy..it's getting permission from your wife that is tough.
