We are having a meeting in Abilene on December 14th @ 6pm to discuss starting a new chapter there. Location is TBD but, I will post as soon as I know. This is an informative meeting and requires no commitments or obligations. The NWTF is a great way to meet fellow hunters, help conserve Turkeys and other wildlife, and preserve the future of our hunting heritage. Come meet some of your locals and have a good time. Out this way ours have gone down so much due to hogs that I'm gonna give a pass this year. I'm not even going to the turkey feeder. Went from 1000s to a 100 or so and all stay in the same area.

We are having a chapter meeting for the National Wild Turkey Federation in Weatherford at Worthington Real Estate office Wednesday night at 6:30. Anyone interested in learning more about the NWTF or joining the committee is invited to attend.

The Gulf Coast Chapter of the NWTF will be hosting the 4th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet on January 29, 2011 at the Doyle Center in Texas City.
