Depends on the weather, time of year and the ranch itself. If it is in the rut on highly managed ranch on a drizzly mid 40's overcast day then all day long without question. I have killed really big deer in the mornings only on one ranch and then only in the evenings on another. Never been very lucky sitting in camp though.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I see more deer in the morning but I dont mind as long as I am out in my stand. I like thanksgivin hunts though. Going home eating after a hunt and sleeping until my evening hunt.
If I put my wife in a high fence will her rack get bigger?

on our place I'd rather hunt mornings, in the upper 30s with a steady drizzle. If it's in the 20s and hvy frost, I'm still wanting mornings b/c when that sun hits the field the deer come out of the woodwork. Evenings are slow for us and most deer don't slip out until right at dark and they;re too far off to tell much about.

i'm an evening hunter.
just like the evening sets so much better
especially on those days when its slightly cool, sunny and a light wind
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Love the morning hunts and watching the world wake-up. If it is really cold and drizzly, will sit all day.

If I morning hunt I like to hunt into late mornings 10:30am to 11:00am. It seems the bucks like to move a little later than the doe. If I had to choose between morning or evening I have always preferred the evening hunt over the morning.

When ever the critters are moving. Like mornings most watching and listening to the world wake up to a new day. Midday hunts during the full moon times especially though have been very productive on some mature bucks
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I like to hunt early morning next to or on the food plots, but around 10am to 2pm, I like to hunt on the creek in a high deer stand.

I like to hunt afternoons and if possible. I try to shoot while the sun is still fairly high so I'll have good light when I'm dressing out the deer.

I see more deer in the evenings...but really like morning hunts. There's just something about watching the sunrise from the deer stand.

Mornings seem to be more productive on our Llano Co. place. But, some of my most memorable hunts were down South when it was cool and foggy or drizzling. Deer moved all day.
I just like being out.

Some of my best memories are from morning hunts with the kids. I will remember dec -18- 2011 the rest of my life. It was a cool crisp morning and the sunrise was like none other orange, pink, and purple. My son tells me I want to bring my kids here some day, then my daughter said yep this is awesome I love being out here. PRICELESS!!!

I sit all day the during the rut. I've found from 10am to 2pm just as good as any morning or evening. There's less deer movement for sure, but it only takes one.
"I have too many guns," said no one, ever.

Mornings and evenings seem to be equally productive for me, but I like sitting in a blind in the evenings when the woods start to quiet down and the sun starts to go down.
