There is something very interesting in that picture other than the snake, lets see who picks it out. I spotted it right off!

That must be a pretty tough snake to be pinned under 2 hot wires on that electric fence. I would say it was mad as heck getting zapped. It's last meal was enough to get it stuck it looks like.

Your getting close, tell me whats wrong with that picture. A rancher should have spotted it right off!

There are 3 wires that are hot. The one low to the ground on the outside and one on the inside of the fence. There is also an outrigger on the main fence. The main fence is not hot. This is a predator fence built around a normal fence.

The main fence is high-tensile. There are 3 hot wires in that pic. Look closely and you will see the white porcelein insulators.

No isolators on the rebar posts that have the "electric" wire tied to them.

This is an African Rock Python.

I will be willing to bet the main fence is not hot and made of steel posts and rebar. The outriggers and predator wires are hot. They are insulators on them. I have built many a fence just like this on existing livestock fencing.

After looking at it again you are 100% right and I was 100% wrong. Dang it!

I've never seen a snake try to go over a strand of wire. Fishy.

Must have been provoked to strike and coincidence had it he/she hit the wires.
