You did a great job on this blind. I am a beginner welder,so I have a couple of stupid questions. Did you build a pitch on the roof or is that necessary? Also, did you use 2" sq tubing for the floor to make it more sturdy instead of 1" like the rest of the blind? I figured 1" sq tubing for the floor would be plenty strong. Thanks

The place I hunt and cull shoot, the Silverado, in Fowlerton has about 15 or more of the same type blinds w/ sliding glass windows ect..they are very nice, but the only thing that is a negative is the ridge on the windows..When you place a rifle on them it is hard to hold it steady and it's hard to get a bag to fit on them Don

Tell me more about how you insulated it. I have a couple of blinds and need to insulate them with carpet or sheets like you did. What type of materials, how was the install, what did you use to glue everything, etc. Thanks

I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Being a beginner welder,I would like to try to build a blind out of square tubing similar to yours. After you build the base, do you build a couple of the walls and then weld them to the base and then piece the rest of it together? Thanks
