I've since penned the feeders so hopefully no more Mr. Stinkies. I actually watched a skunk for 45 minutes from my tripod last year. They are actually quite an interesting animal, he was jumping into high grass for insects or something and digging a little too. Never even saw me though he got within 20 foot of me.

I thin them out bc I know we'll have landscaping where we're hunting at some point and they're heck on flowers.

What takes the fun out of hunting is that under the right circumstances I'd be more than happy to take any one of these respectable deer, though I know there are some out here that would armchair quarterback and say "not old enough", "not big enough" or "not enough headgear". DQ Kid.. A trophy is in the eye of the beholder.. Just as long as you’re happy after pulling the trigger that's all that matters. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yeah, height seems to be more predominant than width around my neck of the woods. Would like to see a combination of the two, 20-24" wide with good height.
