I'm in the process of building mine and will start assembly once I get my lower in from the group buy on here. After the people at Satern start turning out Grendel barrels that will be my next build. That will be sometime in November from what I understand.
The one I'm building will look like this...
Lower Spike's Tactical Stripped Lower Palmetto State Armory Lower Parts Kit w/o Fire Control Group ARFX Skeleton Stock AR15 A2 Rifle Stock Completion Kit MAGPUL MIAD Pistol Grip Spike's Tactical Billet Trigger Guard Geissele SSA-E
Upper AR 15 Performance 16" 6.8 - 4150 CMV Scout Profile Barrel VLTOR MUR Upper Receiver ITS Extreme Duty NiB Bolt Carrier Group 5X4 Compensator Samson Evolution Free Float Tube 11" BCM Gun Fighter MOD 4(Med) Charging Handle VLTOR Low Profile Gas Block Mid-Length Gas Tube

22-250 with a bullet between the eyes or in the ear.
I don't smoke ,so I can't say but I highly doubt it. I do know a loud fart works! I think they like the smell plus I guess they think it's a buck grunt. _________________________

This pair of 300 Blackouts. Crazy accurate and exactly what I need for 40 to 200 yard shots. Top one: Bravo upper, Palmetto lower and Magpul MOE+ lower parts kit w/match trigger, ER Shaw 300BO 16" carbine gas barrel, Hogue float tube, 4 rail gas block, tri-delta muzzle brake, M16 BCG, Bravo charge handle, two point harness, cheap temporary mildot scope/riser.... Bottom one: Bravo Upper, Palmetto lower, CMMG lower parts kit w/match trigger, Magpul MOE+ grip and trigger guard, ACE Skeleton stock, Hogue free float tube, CMMG 300BO 16" carbine gas barrel, 4 rail gas block, tri-delta muzzle brake, M16 BCG, Palmetto charge handle, Condor two point sling, 1/2 inch riser with UTG 3-12 illuminated mildot. Waiting on some parts to finish a 7.62x39 upper to play with also... Have been following ZenArchery's success with his and I have lots of ammo! Also use a Model 722 punched to .223 wylde for "finesse" shots...LOL! Absolutely beautiful!!!!

Depends on if you want to shoot one or more than 1. Probably a suppressed 6.8 with thermal optics but since I'm an average Joe, I have a 5.56 with a good light and bonded bullets

I can tell you from this pass weekends hunt, that shot placement is the key, no matter whet you hunt with. I shot the biggest boar I have ever seen on hoof Sunday morning with a 45-70 at 30 yards. I hit him in the shoulder quartering towards me, with a 325 grain lever evolution bullet. I saw him buckle to his knees, then he jumped up and ran off. That ammo is for sissy 30-30's...... Buy yourself some Buffalo Bore ammo loaded with lead cast bullets. And never have that problem again.
