I just purchased some new turkey terror broadheads for this spring. I have done a lot of research and tried several broadheads out and have marked the g5 striker as the winner. My wife shoots the montecs at 85 grain.

G5 Tekan II, they fly like field points are very solid and open from the rear. Put the arrow in the right spot and a finely chipped peice of flint rock will do the job.

Thunderheads. I have tried several brands and types over the years and these work every time.

Any one seen the new True Fire Mechanical yet(not sure of the name)? Seen them a couple of weeks ago while in a shop. Sales rep had them in there thinking about trying them this year. Just wondering about the bone breaking blade being to round at the base. Other then that I really liked the action of the blade, No chance for failure of opening.

I absolutely love Grim Reaper 100 gr. broadheads. Went from Rockets to GR's. Buddy of mine talked so much about 2 blade Rage. Going to hunt hogs next weekend on the ranch and am very interested in new test.

Ive been a thunderhead shooter as well but kinda thinking about the NAP hellrazor..any feedback? not having to mess with getting the replacement blades to line up to screw in is the only motivation?

I'm trying out the Muzzy MX-4. Seems to fly well with practice heads so far.

do those wacky guillotine boradheads really work for turkeys? Seems like the flight would be greatly altered to me.

That is what I am going to use this year. I just bought the black practice ones today to tune my bow. Are they pretty tough?

RAGE 2 BLADE, NOT A MECHANICAL AND SHOT THESE LAST YEAR WILL NOT CHANGE....THE DRURYS ARE USING THEM NOW AND ALL OF MY PSE BUDDIES ARE TO, THE 3BLADE IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE 2 BLADE. BROADHEADS ARE LIKE TODAYS BOWS MOST ALL OF THEM ARE GOOD AND WILL KILL A DEER, ITS JUST PERSONAL PREFERANCE!!

Montecs are awsome but like all heads paper tuning is a must. they also sharpen really well with a flat stone

Been shooting spitfires-then the new spitfires XP- nothing but good results. They do bent the blades, ext like all mechanicals. Also got G5 and now Rage but haven't tried. Switched to Rage since bigger entance hole. Spitfire only a small hole. Buddies all had good things to say. Hopefully will get to try out this year.
