I just bought a 300 Blackout upper from PSA. Now I need to go about getting reloading equipment. What have you guys found to be a good powder? Also, I would like some advice on reloading dies, bullets, and brass. Is it worth it to try and cut down my 223 brass or should I just buy 300 blackout brass?

No. Just buy the brass already prepped from 223 brass.

Kinda what I was thinking. You have a good place to get it from?

You can see my ammo pricing HERE.

Components I don't sell. I need them to make my blk out ammo. If you look online with a search for blk out brass, there are several that pop up. Honestly, by the time I sold you the brass, you could by it for the same amount, maybe less. And the bullets are easy to find.

For the price and performance, the processed 223 brass is great. It's very consistant and much less expensive than factory blk out brass is new.

Yea, I saw the ammo pricing. I'm more interested in loading up my own ammo. I may see about ordering a box or two eventually but I really want to load up my own.

Midway has Advanced Armament primed brass for $129/500 rounds. That's an exceptional price compared to some of the brass I have bought.

Chad is very GTG.

Whenever Savage releases the 10PC in 300BLK, I'll be hitting him up for ammo.

You can find good 223 processed brass for $0.14 each. It's what I use, and it is good brass. I wouldn't use it if the performance wasn't there. And it's much cheaper than the new stuff. For subsonic ammo, you can reload the brass a crazy number of times. I'm sorry, I can't reveal all my good sources of suppliers, but a quick google search will yield you some good results.

Midway shows to be out of stock till 4-29! I really don't want to pay $95 for a set of dies.

I looked for some earlier and couldn't find any. This should work though. Thanks!

Whoops. I meant to say 300 blackout dies. Still can't find those.

Greetings,
I've had good luck with Lil'Gun powder and brass from Brads Warehouse.
The production brass is coming down.
Be aware that the brass from Brads Warehouse is reformed Lake City brass so you want to stay away from max loads due to case volume.
Also, you probably want to run them thru the complete reloading cycle, resizing/deburing them before you load them.

Cheers,

4895 would be slow of a powder. You couldn't get enough in the case to reach max velocity and get a full burn.

I'm told that Lil'gun and Hodgdon H110 is good for supers. Don't know what people are using for subs.
