The internet is serious business....

I only warn my "used to be friends" 1 time, then I call the law on them.

Am I the only one asking;

If your going to poach why only shoot 3 birds? And nothing that would be worth killing out of season...not like it was a fully plumbed out spoonie, or cinny teal...

Just sayin....if I was a poacher I'd be killing buckets of birds, and I sure as heck wouldn't tell me "used to be friends"

If it weren't for gay gray ducks ,bird.totals would be down in Tx. We called them gadrakes. Not to offend anyone of course. sure did shoot a lot of them this year in which we like refer as "the year of the gray duck"

Heck Garrett, I reckon I'm one of those DB you mention since I have called the game warden on quite a few of 'so-called' friends hunting. Some went with me hunting and hunted other areas or blinds and some did not - I go over all regulations and restrictions for the species we are after and make darn sure they know what can or cannot be done or shot. If they don't abide by it and are with me, so be it.

Nope, none are worth tainting my reputation with our game wardens for some dumb act they knew about before they committed it. Makes me no difference!

I call the GW on all my friends, even when I think they are legal..you know, just to have them checked

Some buddies head out spot lighting for rabbits...you guessed it, GW will show up before the night is over.

Keeps em on their toes up

Just curious. Let's say your buddy has harvested five gadwalls. A flight of gadwalls fly to his side and he is the only one to shoot, consequently two birds hit the water. Do you call the game warden? scratch

It's all relative. IMO there's a big difference between an honest mistake and a blatant douchebag - although game wardens don't necessarily see it that way.

Wait is the person who broke the law being defended on here? I would think the bigger issue is obviously the hunting/harvesting out of season, not the tattle tale on your friend part.

Garrett called the GW on Dave Speer once but they found out it was ok to hunt hogs anytime of year.

If I called Johnny Law on every friend I that did something that could be interpreted as "youthful indiscreation" I wouldn't have many friends left.

The only way this would hold water in a court is if the reporting source watched it happen and will testify against him in. Or the GW watched it happen. Besides getting him to confess is their anything the GW can do to make it stick?
