'Your Moms' in Austin is my new favorite at the moment. Get the Willie Nelson, it's solid! Also Zinc is a little posh, in San Antonio, but it's darn good.

Well my kid can't spell burger and he's 14 and takes pre-K classes and misses school all the time but he says Herds is the best and the Malt Shop in Anna is second and I believe him. Oh and MGs in Sherman and the Steel Grill in Graham are close.

Had me a Herds double meat, single cheese all the way with mustard & jalapenos last saturday, buddy that was so good!

Is Neely's still there in Marshall. They had a pork BBQ that was to die for. The hamburger and onion rings were awesome too.

This is a great thread, and I need to read it specific to the N Dallas AO.
Per chains, FWIW, I think 5 Guys and Whataburger are tops -- In-n-Out, not even worthy of mention....

How about a medium rare cheeseburger at Snuffers? TOO rare and too salty. Not bad, but is no where near being considered one of the best. You go to Snuffer's for the cheese fries and cold beer. You just eat a burger to go with the fries....

All of the Jake's Burgers that I've eaten at are pretty good. Also, Angry Dog in Dallas has a pretty tasty burger.

Because i haven't tried all of these other places in this 10 page list, I'm gonna say Circleville Store has the best cheeseburger around me! All of their food is good, the beer is cold, and they even sell minows!
I guess i'll work my way over to Steve's in Thornadale and give them a try one day. They take debit cards, or will i need to be carrying cash?

Turkey Creek Bar and Grill in, believe it or not, Alvarado Tx. Get the double and cut it like a pie. Youll have to turn it sideways to eat it.
