Nice, spam your own calls like you bought one and then not answer anyones questions about the call....
Dave ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This. J.J. J.J. Not sure how to repond to This? How you respond to it, is answer everyones Questions, comments, which you did! I appreciate the nice comments about Kelly and I, and our operation! You look like you have a good product. Like mentioned, quotes next time and letting us know it was from a customer would go over a little bit better! Good luck with your calls... J.J. Thanks J.J. I will! Isn't a whistle a call? The majority of ducks produce a whistle call, they don't quack, so that might be the answer to your success! And that is why I designed the Wingstopper "Lock-n-Knock" with 4 whistle calls combined with the traditional mallard hen call.

Nothing wrong with a good crown from time to time, but I think I will concentrate on producing a quality duck call. I'll leave the flask design business up to the liquor companies.

Muddyfoot You might be right, I did start this post to expose the Wingstopper "Lock-n-Knock" to the waterfowl hunters out there. And I used part of a testimonial sent to me by one of my customers minus some puctuation in which I appoligized for. The overall goal here is that anyone that likes and orders a "Lock-n-Knock" can be confident they are getting a quality innovative call they like! That's why I have a 100% guarantee on my calls (It's at the bottom of my website home page). I have many calls I've purchased over the years that did not stay on my lanyard long for one reason or another, but most of the time it was do to a lack of quality. Marketing is a powerful tool, but spending $140.00 for a hen call does not guarentee you will harvest more birds or become a better caller! Mark Schulte Wingstopper Duck Calls

Mark I respect what your doing and think that the call is a neat lil Idea but personally I don't think the call would be worth any more than 59.99 and that still may be a lil high.$39.99 may get them moving a lot faster for you. One thing I hate to hear is when guys talk about spending $140.00 or more on a call stating that it will not make a person harvest more birds,ect.ect. with that being some what of a true statement the craftsmanship that goes into most high end calls are bar none. One could take any call and harvest birds if he does one of two things and that is don't use it or run the crap out of it but with custom calls they are designed in a way to match each caller and their calling style.Which brings me to my point,Your call is actually a whistle that can make a duck sound and not to many at that,NO I have never ran that call but just looking at the design I can tell that it is capable of 1 maybe 2 mallard hen sounds where as most high end calls are only duck calls and have multiple ducks built in them, different bore designs for back pressure to give a call a certain amount of hold, where as the Wingstopper has no bored out end to it so I know it can only go so far. Well without going any further into duck call science (LOL) I will end by saying overall the call is neat and good luck with marketing it,Think about maybe changing the marketing of it to a Whistle that is capable of making a Mallard hen sound, that would help you out alot.

Price does not mean your getting a superior call, sound wise. And I was not trying to discount any calls, that's not my style! When I purchased a call it was based on the sounds and tones the call could produce not the price, my point. Your right the "Lock-n-Knock" is a whistle with a mallard hen call AND a mallard hen call with a whistle. And how ever you want to look at it, it's a diverse call with 5 seperate species designed into 1 call. It was not designed to be like other calls and its not. I designed it as a midrange to close in finishing call and the "Lock-n-Knock" does that well. Before you give it a value, you should try it! A GOOD CALL IS HELD IN THE EARS OF THE BEHOLDER!!!
Regards
Mark

Mark, when I put a price on it I should have said why I thought that .I was saying or meant to say if you price them at $39.99 then you would have one of the most high dollar whistles on the market and as a whistle with an added bonus of a mallard hen it would and should get a lot of hype,Basically just say its a Whistle.

Alright, I will be the first to take advantage of the Texas Hunting Forum discount special. If you are willing to sell it for that price, I will give it a try. Like I said, I have a Buck Gardner Firecracker and a Buck Gardner Duck Whistle, so I have a basis to compare it to. My two calls cost me a whopping total of $19.99 and $7.99 so I am still paying a bit more than what I paid for my other two calls together. I will write up how easy it seems to work for me when I practice in the off season and I will also see how well it hunts. I just started duck hunting this year and did not use a call very much, so if I manage to call some in on public land using your call, that should be a good test for it.
