I like tru-glo sights but have used a Simmons Pro Diamond 4X32 Shotgun Scope on a couple of hunts with no issues. I just like the tru-glo's better due to faster target acquisition.

My calling has gotten so good that I just call them 'within range', reach out of the blind, grab'em and wring their necks. No sights needed.....Actually, I use TruGlo sights because these old eyes have trouble seeing the bead at the end of the barrel.

Lots of fancy turkey hunting guns, sights, etc... out there these days. I still use my grand dads old 16 gauge, 2 3/4" full choke. Nothing against the new stuff, I'm just old school...
