I have been hunting with dogs since I was a young boy but as I get older I seem to like the easier road. So now we mainly gun hunt at night. My 6 y/o daughter will man the night vision binocs and we have good bonding time. Been tracking this one for awhile and have yet to get a good shot on him. My daughter calls him the Oreo pig.

He could pass as a domesticated commercial hog. He definitely has quite a bit of hamp in him to have such a distinctive belt.

He could pass as a domesticated commercial hog. He definitely has quite a bit of hamp in him to have such a distinctive belt. yup if he isnt one that got loose as a baby than hes a first generation out of a domestic feral cross...

Yeah, idk the area this is, or situation, but I would question if somebody in the area turned this guy loose to breed up some size in the wild populations. Or he could be a product of turning one loose for that reason

The is not a domesticated hog. It has a Hampshire dominate trait but still a feral hog.

We get a lot of our hogs that are that color, the hamp gene is dominate. Ya they have hamp somewhere in their blood line, but if someone is turning out their show hogs, they've turned out 20 or 30 on my place. We get a lot of spots too, seen a big solid red boar on my cam last week someone lost their duroc I guess.
