A deserving company is one that puts its best in every level of rifle. your a parasite to this forum yet again you offer no real answer when asked a question about a statement you made. i hope a storm comes thru tonite and knocks out your transformer so we can be free from your bullshyte for atl least a little while

that means buying nothing but customs b/c there's not a mass production company that does that. Or at least semi customs like Dakots or Cooper. I do think Tikka and TC are good quality across the full line.

Amen. I HAD both Ruger M77 and Rem 700 . . Try the Tikka action and you'll never buy another Ruger or Remington. Fixed it so it fit me too.....

I have both a Ruger M77 .270 and a Remington 700 SPS .270. I shot the Ruger for years till I bought the Remington. I had both triggers set at 3.25 lbs. The Remington out shot the Ruger from day one. I have never had a factory rifle that shot as good as the Remington does. I like it so much that I had a custom .280 built off a Remington 700 BDL action. The Ruger has not fired a shot in 8 yrs now.

You will have to work on a ruger to get it to shoot.
Besides the the trigger , you typically have to gave it bedded and floated.
Do this and they are real shooters
My ruger is a 1 moa gun, my remmington shot better, but at that point your splitting hairs in a hunting rifle

Mu Ruger M77 lightweight 308 that sits in the safe most of the time shoots ok. A friend bought it a few years ago. We mounted a Burris on it and to the range we went. From the bench it was shooting 3/4 inch groups and a little smaller. He hunted with it one week I think then we traded during the off season. I consider that a pretty good shooting stock rifle especially considering it has a very light weight barrel same contour as the ultra lights but the barrel is 20 inches I think. (limited run)
For a light weight hunting gun anything around or a little under an inch is good for deer and hogs at the ranges most are shot. Learn your limitations from field conditions through practice and stay within them

i have both 700 and ruger 77 the 700 will shoot tighter groups, and has a good feel to it, but over all i perfer the action and feel of the ruger 22 inche barrall stainless mountian sythtic stock and shoots acceptable groups for a hunting rifle as one of other posters said i want to head over the hill hunting when its in my hands, the remmy is more less get on the target bench or maybe pop a hog out the truck window in the cow pasture .
NRA all the way god guns and guts made us free , i want all three
