$50? It is $15 for the hunters ed course. And like, 6 hours...

To summarize what has been posted, if you are working on behalf of the landowner and are donating the meat to an organization or person other than the shooters, or leaving the meat to rot, then he would be allowed to shoot. If he plans on keeping the meat he must have a hunting license or deferred hunting license. You can only get one deferral in your lifetime, and it sounds like he already did that last year?

To play it safe, if he joins you without a license I would not take any meat back.



If it looks good, eat it.
