I ran them forever and then switched to Nittos. Great mileage, decent offroad, decently quiet, and I've had one flat in the last three sets Ive had. And they are cheaper usually than the BFGs...

Very nice truck sir. Can we get a side view? I'm thinking about putting a 2" leveling kit on my 08 Ext Cab, but I'm not sure how it will look with the stock wheels (245/70/17)...

Also, that front "spoiler" plastic piece is called the front air dam. I removed mine too, I just like the way it looks without it. I have heard reports of a .3-.5 drop in MPG, but I figured that was a fair trade for a more useful vehicle

Loading the side pics to photobucket now. I can deal with the little less mpg, I am already heavy footed and that little plastic thing looks bad. Mine has 265s and looks like it needs bigger tires. It was a little taller with out the winch and bumper.

Man, that looks slick. Is the before picture with the leveling kit installed or without? It's hard for me to tell.

If I decide to go with a leveling kit, I will probably put 275s on.

the before was the day I got it bone stock. its hard to tell. but it was a very noticeable difference between stock and with the leveling kit. thanks for the kind words too!

You can definitely tell the difference with that before picture.

I took it to 4wheel parts for the leveling kit, did the winch stuff in the garage. I installed the leveling kit on my 2000 z71 and it was a beating even tho there isn't much to it.

How much was labor on the install, if you don't mind me asking?

install plus alignment was a little less than $300 but when I bought the leveling kit I got a gift card and a coupon for 25% off installation.

I haven't really thought about it before, I don't know what I want to do next, thinking either a UWS toolbox or some pro comp 7032 wheels.

How is the ride after the lift? Any difference?

Nothing different that I've noticed

Just make sure you get metal leveling kit not the poly ones bc even tho the poly ones are a little softer ride they will sag after time.
