More than likely...Yes, that should take care of it.
Are you letting the gun cool any at all between shots?

Sounds like something loose to me. I'd start with action and bedding screws. Then scope mount and rings. I have seen rings so far out of alignment that the scope moved each shoot, so lapping the rings into alignment might be necessary. Then look at the scope.
Damage to a barrel crown... Trash in front edge of chamber not allowing proper seating.. Wood touching barrel...(synthetic shouldn't matter much)

You sent it back without the scope, right? There's a good chance they'll slap it into a rest and get a reasonable group out of it and send it and the target back to you. At least then you'll know it's something to do with the scope/rings/mounts.

I dont think that it is something to do with the scope or the mounts. I have seven remington model 700 and ive never had a problem like this.

Have you looked down the barrel with a bore light to see if anything obvious is wrong?

you need to send your rifle to a good gunsmith.Get it looked at and see if its a factory problem.Or you can try some reloads.Good luck.

Stay with your plan of sending it back to Remington. They should be forced to fix this.

GFL on getting Remington to fix anything if the rifle shoots as well as the owner said...has been my experience with folks who have related similar tales of woe. I'll be very interested to hear otherwise...and have the ready. Ron

just throwing one out there, did you by any chance have solvent or anything in the barrel when shooting, because if its wet, it will throw em all over
