I hunted with a guy a couple months a ago that said that his family used to run part of the king ranch and that the Nilgai came from a barnam and bailey circus. he said they couldnt tame them for the show so they gave them to the ranch. i thought that was was pretty interesting.

A family friend leases that pasture. I got to hunt with his ranch manager. The best guide on the King Ranch as far as I am concerned.

Awesome congrats Why didn't you take a nilgai? J/K I had several shot opportunities at Big Bulls, but I have already shot one and got it shoulder mounted. They would rather you shoot a young bull or cow for meat, I just never got a shot at one of them.
