For me it was in Bienville La.Swamps shooting a single shot 410 that wouldnt let a woodduck live it seemed.I couldnt miss! Now I miss mostly. My uncle and cousin took me and Granny would make her dressin with them wood duck feet sticking out ,and we would wash it down with some sweet tea.Pretty good.

Guns dont kill people.....bullets do.

Mine was just 2 weeks ago.. me and 2 other buddies 2 of us with zero experience went to a place we have never been or scouted and were able to take 5 total. Not a lot I know, but man we were proud of them 5 ducks!! I even turned one around with a comeback call. Now I am hooked!! Going again this weekend, now we have more decoys and are better at calling haha!! Watch out ducks!!

I grew up hunting everything but ducks, now all I hunt is ducks. My father in law took me on my first hunt when I drove from Lubbock to East Texas one weekend to ask his permission to marry his daughter. We didn't fire a shot that morning but I got what I was after. I've been addicted ever since.

Last weekend I got to introduce a good friend to the sport and took him on his first hunt. I called and let him shoot, I had more fun watching him soak it in. He got 2 GWT and we must have taken a dozen pictures. Can't wait to take my son (2 yrs old) on his first hunt.

Early 90s, I was in HS and my dad took me...or maybe middle school. I don't even remember anything from it other than we only had like 6 decoys and remembering I thought we should have more. We went a few times while I was in HS and then more when I was in college. I honestly didnt take an interest in it...I just kind of went when I didnt have anything better to do. It wasnt until I moved back from Texas and my dad took me on a goose hunt in 03. I guess something in me missed it and that hunt reminded me. I think I went a few more times that year and then the next year. I think 04 or 05 is when I turned into a duckoholic. I'm kind of pissed at my younger self for not taking any interest in it....I was just too cool and had other things on my mind I guess.

I grew up hunting deer until I was bout 25. My sisters ex-boyfriend took me one day during the christmas holidays. I was hooked after that.
