Man, that is one big cat. I can see why you call it a Lynx.

This would be a fantastic pose for a bobcat mount!

The camera is a cuddeback capture, I actually wish it was on my busnell tropy cam at my other feeder, because it takes even better pics.

Texsun, I'm thinking about selling the rights to the highest bidder to taxidermy companys to make the form in this pose grin

I just loved this pic when I saw it because its not very often I get a good pic of a BOBCAT during the daytime. Thanks for everyones comments.

Actually, what we call a bobcat is a Lynx; just one of several similar species of Lynx that live in North America. From a scientific perspective they are all Lynx. It's an either-or scenerio, as you would be correct in calling it either a Lynx or a bobcat.

Pretty looking cat, lynx pics I've seen have dark pointed ear tips, end of the tail is dark, and they have longer hair below the chin, I say thats a bobcat.

I'd say that is a spotted, short tailed, liontigerpuma cat leopardpanther, approx. 3 1/2 yrs. old. I would let him walk till next year though he will be a monster then.

Bobcats love quail just like people do. They also like turkey. My son shot a large male 2 years ago that was hanging out around our best turkey feeder.
