I hear up around Jacksboro, it goes for upwards of 16-20 per acre.. One of my customers is on a small 160 acre place, just for he and his family. He writes a 3000 dollar check for that place. No electricity, no running water. Having one place strictly for himself, his wife, and their 2 kids is nice.. But I think his cost is a little higher than it should be. ME?? I have my 30 acre slice of heaven, that I pay 13k a year for.. 2000 sq ft house, barn, etc... Oh yeah, it's year round too.. LOL I am on a good plan too... After 24 more years, the owners will just give it to me.
Daniel Just Because... That's why.

Good info - keep it going! Don't need to divide by number of hunters - Just the total lease fee divided by the total acreage. This should help people looking for next year to get an idea of what the landowner should be charging on the average.
