Never seen this ol' boy before, but he has been showing up pretty regularly over the past couple of weeks. This guy has had a pretty good life. Thoughts on age?

No idea on age.
He does look like he needs creamed corn though.
Nice deer.

Got a ton of battle scars. If you don't shoot him soon, he's going to lose a fight that kills him.

Definitely seen his share of that world. And by that, I mean, a few square miles.

He is on a section of land I hunt around cross plains. I will take him if I get the chance. Big 14 point has been calling my name though but he get's a pass this year.

The good news is that if you never take that deer, it's okay. If he's as old as I think he is (at least 7.5), his genetics are very solid and it's fine if he stumbles into a doe on a chance woodrow a time or two before he dies.

5.5 yr old. Does not have enough staining on his hocks to be older than that to me. Nice buck.
