One side note, NEVER put an armadillo in a paper feed bag.

Nice cat! But whats the benefit of using an airgun? Its slightly more challenging than using firearms. And your shot placement has to be nearly perfect. If you want challenging, why don't you go after a bobcat with a spoon. That would be challenging, but not very practical.

I would rather a .22 lr with iron sights. And shoot a moving cat at 100 yards with a 9mph cross wind. That's a challenge. Anybody can kill something with a bb gun at 35 yards when the bb is traveling 1500 feet per second.

Anybody can kill something with a bb gun at 35 yards when the bb is traveling 1500 feet per second. Actully its only shooting around 850 fps lol. I have killed plenty with 22lr.

The reson I shot him with the pellet gun is he killed our chickens, but we are kinda in a suburban area and I didnt want to disturbe the neibors with a rifle shot.

I'm not hating. Just seems like it's not enough gun for the job. Since lane said he was in a suburban area I can understand that. Personally the only thing I can think of thats worse than tangling with a bobcat is tangling with a pissed-off bobcat.
