What kind of boat do you have for hunting, and do you have a pic to post? Wish I would have gone on a hunt last year. Bought a fish N Ski in March. Live and learn. Guess I'll just have to buy a second boat.

I'm in the same boat... so to speak. Just bought an ATV and now want a hunting/fishing rig. Went duck hunting on 12/8 and only killed one bird. That's all it took to get me hooked again. I will be selling the ATV soon. Good news is the bite will be on in a few months too.

2004 G3 18'6" drabe olive, alweld, 90hp, it's a great hunting boat and fishing boat. On windy days it can be a bit of a challenge picking decks up or trying to stay on a brushpile but only once was I afraid with the boat, and that was sandbass fishing on Tawakoni and hit a submerged tree and the boat tried like heck to throw you like a rodeo bull. If your trying to find the fix for both addictions I'd look at the G3 and the WarEagle but leave an open mind for this boat, from what I've read and seen on their website this very well might be my next hunt/fishing boat. http://www.duckwaterboats.com/I'll post some boat pictures up in the next couple of days.

17 ft. X-press with a 60hp Yamaha. NO Carpet!! Best thing about the boat is that it is my buddies and I get to use it more than he does. I do pay most of the maintenance to make things a little more fair.

I've been looking too and have found some cool products while doing research. Not sure what boat I'm going with, but I'm pretty sure this is the blind I am going to install. http://www.mudbuddy.com/Shaggy%20Boat%20Blind.htm

Jp you can make one just like that for about $150 bucks. I built one for my partner's 24 foot boat and he loves it. He can hide that thing anywhere along a grass shore line. All it is is 1 inch conduit fit to the top of the boat it is hinged in the center of the boat in front and next to the motor in the rear. Then netting is stretched from the conduit to the side of the boat fastened by 1/2 inch PVC. Then buy the grass blind sections from any outdoor store and wire tire it to the netting and the conduit. A rope is tied to the conduit on both sides in the front and back. To the ends of the rope is a brass gate hook and the other side gets a brass ring. Pull the hook to a ring and the blind pups right up. When you ready to go unhook and drop it, the blind folds in half and lays down. PM me if interested. The only problem with them is if the birds get on top of you the gig is up. They will spot you. To beat this at the coast where there are no trees to get under just take some extra camo netting and fill in the holes between the hunters. Oh the advantage other than saving a pile of money is you can fit it to you boat. It turns out you going to have to fit one you buy anyway because they have to make it fit all boats. So there you go.

With a few exceptions, you boys are a bunch of amateurs... Add a little desire, a pinch of duck hunting passion, a little need to go farther than the next guy, and a cup of intestinal Fortitude and here's what you get: add a Mud Motor, Skiff, and a Coonazz. http://media.putfile.com/Pro-Drive-VideoDisclaimer: There were no beers harmed in the making of this video.

how come you only see videos of empty boats. Lets see some fully loaded duck rigs making a run to the back. Dogs, people, decoys, etc.... Lets see them making the run across the deep part of the lake too.

The video would be completely black for a run to the back. They'll run loaded as well and over deep water.

I have a 14 foot jon boat and a 6 HP Evinrude motor. Not the best set up but it works.

I'm running an 1860 WarEagle, side console with 90hp Merc 4 stroke. Been a great boat but probably puttin it on the market end of Jan. if not before. May not be able to go anymore this season but just having a problem pulling the trigger on posting it for sale with the season still going.
