That is typical of bobcat mounts I have seen...the reason I would go with taned hide and euro mount!

They tried to make this one life-like, but they couldn't pull it off.

We have a bobcat mount in the trophy case at our High School because we are the Wildcats. It looks like somebody used golfballs for the eyes. They are huge!!!!! Its terrible. It was mounted standing up on its back 2 legs with its front paws up in the air. It was so bad somebody donated it to the school.

The instructions say no food or water after midnight!

Want to see a bad one look at the shoulder mount Yote some posted the other day,,,

There was a thread about two years ago where a guy ranted hard about getting his bobcat back and the taxi did a horrible job. After about two pages, someone finally convinced him to post a pic so he did. My brother in law and I laughed so hard we pissed our pants. It looked like a flamboyant bobcat, almost like the taxi was playing a joke!

Thank you all! I try to do good quality work that will start conversations. I mean that is the purpose right? I try and remember this is not only to preserve that special moment in our life so that we can recall that moment right before we pulled the trigger, but also to MAKE people ask, man what is that and where did you shoot it? Was this animal taken on this planet? But, that's all I can do for you, everyone thing else requires you to put in a little hard work. For example: striking up that conversation with that "Special" someone because of your precious mount, knowing in the back of your mind, "this may be the one." I am also not responsible for you being offered ridiculous amounts of money for these mounts. I have been cussed up and down from many customers saying they didn't want to sell their most prized personal mounts, but the offer was too high to turn down. That's why I take pictures, post them to my website so if a replica is ever needed, I am able to do that for you.

**disclaimer** only 1 replica per animal will be made to preserve my "One of a kind" workmanship.


hahaaha and to think I haven't had one beer yet. None of these are my mounts, nor do I even practice taxidermy but I was trying to throw out a good laugh for such a cold wet gloomy Monday!!

I had the "church' laughs all day about this stupid thread.
Some of you will understand this.

I even pulled it up again during a meeting today and about lost it. I got a few stares, I just acted like I had a choking cough type thing... Then I put my hands over my mouth and hit exit as fast as I could to re-gain composure.

There's this guy that sings, "Sweet Baby Jesus Boy" at my parent's church every year during the Christmas eve service. Very high voice. At one point in the song, he nails, "SAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW-EEEEEEEEEEEET" and I lose it. Every, single year. Sometimes I lose it waiting for him to let loose that note.

And once it starts, I'm crying laughing into my own shoulder/arm until we leave.

My ex-wife was a pretty bad mount....
