Looking for a new stock for a rifle and ran across Boyd's they make all kinds, for many differnet calibers. Read some reviews that seemed pretty good. Anybody have one or ever had any dealings with them?

Love mine. Had it about 2 yrs now. I put it on my Weatherby 7Mag. It has the thumb hole, laminate grey stock. Very pleased more so then the synthetic it had

We put a gray lamanate thumbhole on a custom 257 bob we had built for oldest girl , we ( she ) loves it!

I really like mine. Put it on a Remington 700 30-06 and it really looks clean. There was not a whole lot of sanding to fit, just around the barrel one side was touching a little. I might have gone a little over board on the finish. I put about 10 coats of polyurethane satin on. But it looks good.

I have 4 of the Boyd's laminates and they are wonderful. Just put a coffee laminate on my 270 Win. Remmy 700.

I really love the color variations they offer on these laminate stocks. I think I'm going to have to get one for my Remington 700 .270. Did you guys have much fitting to do, or was it fairly "drop in".

If you are planning on doing a Savage Model 10 with the blind mag it is not drop in. Had to do extensive rigging and modifications on mine.

Put a thumb hole boyd's on a TC Encore a few years back and it fit rite up. Only work I had to perform was putting a polyurethane finish on it.

I put one on my win m70 and love it. I had a local smith pillar bed and floatt it

What kind of lights does it shoot out?
Like are we talkin the mini bulb Christmas lights or a 500 watt flood light?

I have three in the JRS. The first 2 are a better design than the most recent I got. It is not as streamlined and has some kind of semi-beavertail for the fore stock.
