Don't shoot does until December. (More does you have on your land during the Rut, the more Bucks that will show). You start shooting does in November, they'll be pressured off the land onto someone elses. The Bucks will follow them.
I tend to disagree. The more does that are in heat, the less a buck has to chase. Think about it. Futhermore, if you shoot does in December or late in the season, the greater chance they are already bred. Thus, effecting your future herd. While I do agree with the opinion to take the doe out of the herd earlier in the season if possible, I must disagree with the rest of that statement. A doe will come back into heat every two weeks, or so, until she gets bred. So it doesn't matter when you take that doe. Either get her before she gets bred, or after. Either way has a potential effect on the herd.

If your gonna shoot a doe for meat make sure you do it before december, the last thing I want to do is shoot a doe carrying twins.

What is the difference of shooting in November or December. Either way you have eliminated her and future fawns.

If she was going to carry twins, the timing of when you shoot her will not change the fact that none of them will survive. The only difference is if she was bred or not.

There ya' go wait till all of your does are good and knocked up then kill em' all!!!!! Just don't get why people do this. The less does mean's more food for buck's and proper ratio IS IMPORTANT>>>> DOES WITH BOWS PEOPLE!!!!!! Shoot em' early and the remaining does will get knocked up and carry till spring. If you take out the does during bow season to meet ratio need's then that will limit the buck's option's in November and have him runnin' around chasin' the other's alot more!

every 2 weeks? I thought it was 28 days later and she only had 2 (HEATS) to get bread?
If I put my wife in a high fence will her rack get bigger?

I have tried a few products that are out there and I haven't noticed any real benefit. Corn and a salt lick are what I like the most. I also like to plant winter rye grass as a food plot but other than that I don't really go for the gimmicky products out there.
Just my .02 on the subject.

I have tried both, shot Does early and other years have shot them late. For me and my ranch it's better to shoot them late. I see more Bucks that way and the herd is a lot more calm during the early part of the season. I've been doing the Doe killing late now for a few years and it hasn't affected my herd at all.
