I hear you man, but that kevlar hs precision almost makes up for the price difference. Oh yeah, it's threaded too. So sweet it can make a grown man cry.

I had one selected and was ready to buy when an opportunity to get an FN PBR came up and I went with it instead. You will be pleased with an SPS accuracy for sure. Find the bullet it likes best, pull a few and duplicate on the bench. Tweak as needed for one-hole groups.

Mine is a 26in varmit wgt...L/H SPS...changed out the stock..frnt
end is hollow and ribbed...changes poi on bench rest a little because it's flimsy...I tried pillar bedding...no luck...Finally
put it in my 22-250 BDL Syn Stock and no problem since...Nothing
wrong with the action,trigger, bbl, ect..DD

5rs are the sh+++s tack drivers not much more than the sps

Ditto on the 5R's. Mine is extremely accurate!
