Angelo's is the best around. They've got plenty of tea, it's in bottles in the cooler, but with the coldest beer in town, who wants tea?

Austin BBQ in Eagle Lake is outstanding! Mt. Zion Baptist BBQ in Huntville is also a hidden spot that you would not think twice about going into...thing is, it's packed!

Great thread....

Real tea..not snapple.
Bar-b-q for lunch with out tea is like cornflakes without milk...BTW the bar b-que there is average.

Mike Makeska's I-10 exit 698 in Columbus. I haven't been there in a few years. But, they had a 16oz ribeye with all the fixins for $10.95.
The BBQ is good too!

Hard Eight in Brady ain't bad....Mac;s is better, and Coopers in Llano and Mason is great!

Mac's BBQ in Brady is the best I have had. Everyone driving thru goes to Hard 8 and everyone from Brady eats at Mac's. Hard 8 does serve complementary keg beer though

We ate at Opie's in Spicewood last week for a rehearsal dinner. It was pretty good BBQ. A guy from Coopers in Llano opened it.

Bodacious BBQ in Longview is pretty good. Also Cousins on I-45 in Centerville. I always stop there if I have to drive to Houston.

I have to give 2 thumbs up for Big Guy's BBQ in Sweetwater. Ate there a couple of weeks ago on the way home from a trip and it was real good. Ate there again yesterday and it is the best BBQ I have ever had. they where reconized last year as one of the top 50 in the state.

TYLER

On Beckham in the vicinity of the hospitals, check out Stanley's BBQ for lunch. Get the Brother in law (Heart attack on a plate) you won't be disappointed.

We also have Rudy's on the West Loop. It's good, but Stanley's is better.

WHITEHOUSE

On Monday night and Friday night RIBMASTERS has all you can eat ribs for $15.00. Go hungry and you'll feel like you got your moneys worth. If you're not ready to eat several pounds of ribs, they have a good chopped beef baked potato for around $6.00.

Unfortunately there is not any decent BBQ around our lease in the Panhandle (plus our county is DRY!). However, I like Country Tavern in E. Tx & Blacks BBQ.

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. They give you the meat of your choice, chicken, ribs, brisket, sausage, chops or sirloin, right off of the pit. I stuff myself and get some to go. I highly recommend it. Sorry, that's Shoepfs in Belton.

We happened to stop for ice at the T-N-T Beer store in Burkett & decided to try the brisket & it was good. I mean we make some dang good brisket ourselves but this wasnt bad at all & even the kids chowed down on it.
