Verifying zero at 100 yds on Friday afternoon after arrival at the Lazy W Whitetail ranch. A little to the left but we will work on that...  Nice buck for the wall and the dinner table.  This buck was a fighting bruiser and definitely in the rut. Would hardly stop for a shot. Audrey did a great job on the shot at about 100 yds. Deer walked 20 feet and dropped. Congrats to her. What's she shooting? Browning X-bolt Micro Midas in 7mm-08 with a Zeiss Conquest scope. Ammo was Remington Managed Recoil and the shot was a complete pass through at a slight quartering angle. It devistated the lungs.

Great deer and a great rig. I have been thinking about a Micro for my little boy. I love my XBolt. Check one out. We have been very pleased and it appears to do the job well. I'd like to get her out shooting 200 yd sometime. Just need to find a range or either do it when visiting family up in Arkansas.
