That was with my Browning A-bolt II Composite Stalker .270 Win using Hornady Light Magnum 140g BTSP, 225 yards. Bullet whent through left shoulder and exited just rear of right shoulder. Blew it's heart up and left a baseball sized exit wound. The buck whirled in a circle, pumping out as he did. He hit the ground died right there, as pictured. Never seen anything like it before.

I was thinking he was shot by an alien of some sort. Never seen that before.


That trail has the makings of Aggie joke.

OK, you can mark Scurry County off of the list. I've also got deer from Bosque and Coryell, but they're common and I figure someone else can pick them up.
