Are you being serious? I will guarntee you would not find a game warden in the state that would ticket you for shooting that deer in an AR county even if he was 11"s. Some of you guys just completely miss the purpose of AR's. I think it just pisses some guys off that they cant shoot that little 1.5 yr old dink 4 pt. Shoot a doe and enjoy the meat.

You sir are incorrect in thinking a Game Warden would not ticket you. You are correct, however, in your interpretaion of that law, but no way I would guarantee the Warden would see it the same.

X2 Boone, you need to go read posts of people getting tickets and deer being confiscated that were mature and scored 120+ that didn't meet ARs. If I end up shooting one of these, I will get you to take it to the processor for me since you are 100% positive there won't be an issue.

If GW will ticket you for some of the other petty crap that they get hung up on at times, some of them will dang sure ticket you for a buck not being 13 inches wide. Some might not, but there are some that would and would never miss a beat doing it.

Iguess our GW's have more sence than yours. As for the stories on here, you actually believe the stories on here.

Excuse me Mr. Harris, I think you meant they are big deer. There is not the correct word or spelling??? It was a great hunt and a great time with family- not a mission to impress you! Oh Yea- It's "what ranch doesn't have big bucks like that". Not "Don't have big bucks like that". Perhaps a little time spent in English class would better serve you than insulting somebody's buck online??? It was a high fence ranch and I would do it again. To each his own.

How old was the big buck? HF or LF doesn't matter but that buck had some age on him.
They are all nice deer but I just love the old timers.
