Opening morning/day, which will be your initial harvest....Buck,Doe,Hog or other ? I'm undecided

We have some old culls that show up very regularly, they are first on the list, once they are gone we have a few does to hunt and then just sit and wait for the monster we have never seen before.

The wife is hunting bucks (that doesn't sound right?!?) but I'm focusing on meat for jerky.....lots of it!

Buck or turkey. I got one doe during bow season and am only allowed 3 from my lease so I'm saving the other two for first time hunters. I'd rather introduce someone to the sport than shoot em myself.

 Sometimes I wonder if it will get to the point you bring an attorney with you out hunting.

Talked to my buddy thats at the lease in Callahan County and he said the bucks were chasing pretty good. I'll probably pass on doe this weekend unless i get the perfect shot lined up for my son.

Since my freezer is empty what ever steps out first. This, unless it is a baby. I have a hard time putting a tag on a deer that will yeild 35 pounds on meat.
