* One “Aw-Sh*t” wipes out ALL “At-A-Boys” The difference between shooting and soothing is one "H"'s placement.

I can't compare since I've never owned any of the others. I have a Bushmaster that's been a solid performer. No issues at all. Is it the best? I have no idea.

AR15 or AR10? Which caliber? I think 1 company makes a great 556 but their 68 is lacking & vice versa on a different company.

Wilson Combat as far as I am concerned. have two, 5.56 and 6.8 both are absolute tack drivers and they do the little things right. Enhanced bolt carrier, very tight barrel to receiver fit, finish is excellent, well executed handguard, flash suppressor, etc..
They also have the best trigger out there with their single stage TTU.
Never had a lick of trouble with them, even brand new and not broken in yet.
I have owned JP, RockRiver, Noveske, etc..

The best value in my opinion is BCM. Spike's would be a close second.

For the money Spikes. Under 800 is tough to beat.
My personal guns are BCM/Spikes builds. I like BCM barrels better.

Colt. You can find the LE model for a price that compares to dpms or some of the lesser quality ones imho. S&W makes a nice one too.

I thought Colts were more than a grand for the base model? Ive never seen one for less than a grand. There was a guy on Arfcom that pieced one together for about $800 from new components.

Both my AR's came from Specialized Dynamics. They shoot well and are a good price. Call Scott, he'll get you squared away.

At this time last year, I saw Colt 6920s at Market Hall for $999. That's as cheap as I've ever seen them. Excellent guns.

I have shot many different makes of AR-15s and the one out of the box AR-15 that stood out was the Les Baer Super Varmint Model. I couldn't believe how accurate it was when shooting Prairie Dogs. I could literally call where I would hit the prairie dog at 300 yards. That riflis just stupid accurate with almost any ammunition (except Wolf). I know it is expensive but after shooting one I think it is worth every penny. I hope to own one some day.
