Well I got seven of the eight windows installed over the long weekend. The eighth didn't work due to my giving Tyler the wrong measurements. Must have fat fingered 28" when I actually needed 38" in width. Oh well, it'll save and maybe go into a future build.

They went in with no issues, but installing into 1" steel square tube window framing makes it a little tight for the hinge hardware. Due to the proximity to the ceiling, I had to install them to open down. This worked pretty well, but I also mounted some 550 cord to string across the inside of the windows as extra safeguard should some panhandle wind shake or vibrate the latches loose. Should keep the owls out anyway.

Next time I'm up there I will do as suggested above and install some weather stripping for a little more weather proofing in hopes of keeping the blind dry inside. I'm also going to install some sort of padding on the inside of a couple of the blind walls where the window rests against some steel frame when open to cut out any noise from banging or me bumping with a knee.

Big thanks to everyone for helping to answer my silly questions. Sorry, no pics. It was 100 degrees and I was too busy killing hornets and trying to keep from being stung.
